Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow

Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow (EoT) was a structured program supported by Sir Ratan Tata Trust and VSO International that became one of Dhriiti’s flagship initiatives. This college-focused program targeted high-performing students at prestigious institutions, aiming to transform the top 2-5% of intellectually gifted students from job seekers into job creators.

The program operated with a long-term vision – planting the seeds of entrepreneurial thinking that would germinate at their own pace as students progressed in their careers. EoT reached students at elite institutions including SRCC, Hindu College, Ramjas, KMC, LSR, and Daulat Ram College across Delhi’s North Campus.

Designed as a specialized entrepreneurship development program for young potential entrepreneurs in colleges and polytechnics, EoT intervened at a crucial career juncture, encouraging participants to examine their strengths and interests while considering entrepreneurship as a viable and rewarding path. The curriculum balanced soft skills with functional business competencies to enhance both entrepreneurial motivation and practical capabilities.

Launched in April 2007 and continuing until 2014, EoT operated on a self-sustaining model for 2-3 years of its implementation. Throughout its seven-year run, the program engaged more than 750 young minds across 25+ institutions throughout Delhi NCR.

The program’s cornerstone was its hands-on curriculum that provided participants with practical entrepreneurship experience. Each participant completed a 40-hour program spread over 3-6 months, featuring an “Entrepreneurial Live Project” – essentially running an actual enterprise for several months. This approach allowed students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, embodying the “learn by doing” philosophy.

EoT’s legacy is evident in how it successfully oriented young people toward entrepreneurship and invigorated them with an entrepreneurial mindset focused on job creation and enterprise building.
