Dhriiti started its operations in May 2004 in Assam and Delhi NCR, and was formally registered as a society in Dec 2004

Dhriiti focused  on livelihoods-based rural entrepreneurship through interventions with Arecanut leaf plate and Bamboo farmers in Assam

This phase saw a deeper focus on campus entrepreneurship, creating youth spaces conducive for growth of the entrepreneurial spirit

Engaging with youth across geography, demographics, institutional formats, Dhriiti built the narrative around the financial, social and ecological impact of an entrepreneur

Dhriiti understood the need for integrating entrepreneurship with the skilling revolution. In this phase, Dhriiti placed a large focus on enterprise based skilling programs enabling individuals to imagine their own path towards economic independence.

With young Indians choosing to take the entrepreneurial plunge at all levels, Dhriiti focused on building a structured incubation and acceleration programme that pre-empted challenges in the entrepreneurial journey and managed them

Dhriiti acknowledged that entrepreneurship was experienced and undertaken by different genders differently. Dhriiti worked with women as entrepreneurs and consolidated its learning around gender and entrepreneurship.
